Comments From Readers:

Vicki McGaughEllie's books and her keen insight into marketing have been instrumental in the growing of my fledgling soap business, utilizing the goat milk from my show stock, into a mid size company that is making real profits. Her business sense and writing skills can help anyone using her easy to understand information, turn their farm into a real second income. Thank you Ellie.

Here is an unsolicited testimonial for Ellie's book. Firstly it's a good book - when I bought it, it really helped me look more clearly at ways to promote my business. My favorite thing was getting a handle on how to write better advertising copy - the kind that stands out from all the "Oh, please buy this animal it's our most beautifulest one ever!!! She's sooo cuuuuuuute!!!" Which my advertising needs to do! And secondly, if you hate it, she buys it back! And it's not even that big an investment! I mean, come on - $25? So check it out, folks and have Happy Holidays.

I met you at the ADGA conference in KC MO a few years ago, and was very impressed with you. This book is so needed; thanks for writing it!

I’ve got a copy of the book and it is excellent. I think it would probably work for any alternative agricultures.

I'm reading Ellie's new farm marketing book right now and it's TERRIFIC! I'm learning soooo much (no wonder I've never been able to sell anything).

It's not surprising that I am enjoying it very much! It's eliciting a lot of thought and generating more ideas.

I love it and learned so much! All in all, this is an awesome book!

I was one of the people who proofread Marketing Farm Products and it is AWESOME! In fact, I'm ordering copies hot off the press for several of my friends. I can truly say I learned something new on almost every page and I'll be using Ellie's principles to sell my Storey goat book as well as several titles I plan to self-publish. If you sell anything--any sort of home-based product at all - honestly, you NEED this book. It's much, MUCH better than any other sales or marketing book I've ever read.

This is a much-needed book. As more people go back to the land, they need to be able to handle the business challenges of running a farm.

I have found "Living Beyond the Sidewalk" to be extremely valuable and am looking forward to this next step book.

Just bought your book--took it with me while visiting another alpaca farm, and couldn't get it back from her; so I need another one. From what I've read so far, it's definitely worth paying twice for. I've read everything out there on marketing. If you saw my library, it would make your head spin. It's nice to read something pertaining to farming...........just makes it sink in so much easier, and there were a lot of things which I read for the first time. It's obvious you've put a lot of work into this book and didn't hold anything back.

I hold a Business Degree in Marketing on the Master's college degree level. This book gave me new views and options to look at. I strongly recommend it!!

I love your book and newsletters.
