"Love your book. Your material is wonderful. You stuff a huge lot of information in there! You give the best guidance on LGDs
I’ve seen."
"Yes, Ellie's book is a GREAT start for learning goat care and maintenance. Good work gal!"
"Love your book. Great tool and reference."
"I have two of your books: Making Money With Goats (just finished and really loved) and Marketing Farm Products (just now
starting). "
"Ellie Winslow's book on raising goats is one of the best."
"I just received my copy of Making Money With Goats this week and it is
an excellent book that can easily be shared with goat buyers. A good
reference to have in your library. "
"I think Ellie's book is the "ultimate" reference manual! All the info you need, is right there at your fingertips!"
"I remember prior to getting it, that I was thinking, 'Geeze that's all I need is one more goat book...' but now, I am SO glad that I got it. It's going to be one of the most dog-eared books I have around. It really is a fabulous read, with so many ideas!! But I guess that was the point! "I really can't say enough good things about it... except 'Get It!!' " Stacy Adams
"Well, just to let you know we love the book, and thank you for putting it together and the great handouts in the back. Everyone (on my list) wanted to know how to get this book after I told them how great it is."
"Ellie, I've been reading your book, and am very favorably impressed with the wealth of useful information that you have gathered in a highly reader-friendly form.
Your Appendix III is a wonderful idea - breeders so often have questions like those asked by their customers, and many of those pages can easily be used by goat clubs as the basis of valuable educational programs. Your bibliography, resource lists, and list of web sites are very helpful.
The section on starting a business showed me where I could be doing a better job with my own efforts. The area of marketing is the toughest and most unpleasant for me to deal with. You make it evident why clear planning is important
- I'm one who tends to follow along when an opening presents itself, but resists stopping to lay out specific plans of future action.
I will encourage others to purchase your book - it is definitely a worthwhile investment for the goat breeder's library!"

"For those of you new to goats, I've got to tell you that this book is practically a necessity!! It is filled with so much fabulous information and ideas that I've read mine three times! It really is one of those goat items that you will refer to over and over again...and hey, if you already know everything and decide you don't need it, it comes with a money back guarantee!!"
"The first read has been very enjoyable. Finally someone has gathered all those pieces of papers with wonderful ideas on them and put it all together. Thank you and I'm sure my husband will be thanking you as now all those pieces of paper will be fire starter." Maggie Byrd
"I just recently received mine and I am more than impressed with this book...I've had goats 15 years, and still I learned many new things....Things I would never have thought of. Guard Dogs are discussed and meds and even milk and meat withdrawal times. It covers any thing anyone starting out in goats would need to know. Goes into kidding, and possible problems, and the most common health problems, meds, supplies...There are many photos and Illustrations, and even some terrific goat recipes.
I have not read every single page, because I have not had time. I just got it this week. Its something you don't want to have to stop and put down....
It is very detailed and thorough...........
I can not see one thing important with goats or guards that she left out.
This would be wonderful for someone new in goats, and also for people that
have had goats for years. I think you'll be very happy with this book by Ellie Winslow. It is excellent."
